Pithamagan to be remade in Hindi

 

For the Bollywood, the exchange of movies with Kollywood is no second fiddle. After the initial efforts from K Balachander through his MaroCharithra into Hindi and Balu Mahendra's Sadma (Moonram Pirai) the tradition is intact. Same time Many of the AmitabBachan's Hindi movie were remade in Tamil and were super duper hits. In the recent times, the thumping one has been AR Murugadoss' Ghazini two years ago when Aamir Khan was quite amazed. Now there are certain news gallery which adore that Bala's Pithamagan is being chosen for Hindi remake.

The film had the cast of Surya and Vikram in the lead roles. The effort comes from Satish Kaushik who has got the Hindi rights of Pithamagan. The move comes as the result of the earlier venture from Kaushik through Bala's Sethu in which Salman and Bhumika shone. Kaushik said that the movie has made him more sentimental to the story and he is sure that the remake is timely. It is sure that the movie which fetched Vikram the National Award making good inroads into Hindi belts.
