Dhanush’s next is titled Mariyaan

Though 3 was not a great success at the box office, Dhanush has started concentrating in his next film. On one side the work connected with the Hindi version of 3 is going on. This film is to be released soon in Hindi.

After 3, Dhanush will be acting in a Hindi film titled Raajnhaa. The shooting of this film is to take place in Varanasi. There was news that Dhanush will also be acting in a Tamil film to be directed by Bharatbala but there were no further information about this film.

Now Dhanush has mentioned, "My next film has been titled Mariyaan. Bharatbala who had directed Vande Mataram album is directing this film. Oscar Award winner A R Rahman is composing music for this film. I also want to state that I am very happy that I will be acting in a film to be directed by Vetrimaaran. He is readying the script. I am very eagerly waiting to hear the script."

Nobody has incurred losses because of 3. No one has so far mentioned that they have incurred loss because of this film. If at all there is loss, God has given me enough to compensate. I will take care of my family problems. Why should people implicate Rajni with this film?"

Vetrimaaran to join hands with Dhanush again

If Simbhu starts acting in a film, he alone will only know that when the film will be released. Vetrimaaran had joined hands with Dhanush in the films Polladhavan and Aadukalam.

He had announced that he will be directing a film titled Vada Chennai which will have Simbhu in the lead role. Cloud Nine Movies came forward to produce this film.

Simbhu who is currently concentrating in Poda Podi and Vettai Mannan has not mentioned that when he will be ready for Vada Chennai. At this juncture Vetrimaaran has postponed Vada Chennai and is going to direct a film which will have Dhanush in the lead role.

All the crew members of Aadukalam including Vetrimaaran, G V Prakash, Velraj and editor Kishore will be working in this film. Vetrimaaran has mentioned that the shooting of Vada Chennai has been postponed but Simbhu will be in the lead role.
