Miaow Miaow, says Bhavana

 

Bhavana has bagged an interesting role in a Malayalam film with a unique title. The movie's name is 'Miaow, Miaow Karimpoocha' and it will produced by Mummy Century. "It is a great role and the actress is happy to be part of the movie," say sources.

The Mollywood actress, who is popular in Kollywood and Tollywood too, will also play a crucial role in ace director Priyadarshan's much talked about movie 'Oru Marubhoomi Katha', which has top stars Mohanlal and Mukesh doing pivotal characters.

"Miaow, Miaow Karimpoocha has a lot of newcomers. The others in the cast include Salim Kumar, Suraj, Tinni Tom and Kalabhavan Haneefa. The movie may be shot in a 3D format and Bhavana is excited to play the lead role which is a first of its kind for her," sources add.

Bhavana, who was seen romancing Ajith in 'Aasal', says, "I am open to act in Tamil movies provided I am given interesting roles. I want to do a variety of characters." Recently, the actress rubbished reports that she would enter wedlock soon, saying her focus would be on cinema.

Engaeyum Eppothum is Aiming for a Century

Engaeyum Eppothum, which marks the entry of the production giant Fox Star, into Kollywood has successfully completed 50 days at the BO.

It is interesting to note that the film, with its simple story and star cast, has stuck to its guns, in spite of the arrival of a slew of Deepavali releases, not just in Tamil, but in other languages like Hindi and Tamil too.

The film has reportedly received excellent reviews from both critics and audiences alike, thanks to its impressive screenplay and director Saravanans story. A hit among the masses, the film continues to shine at the box office.

The cast and crew of the film Engeyum Eppothum, including director AR Murugadoss, who co-produced the film with Hollywood production house Fox Star, director Saravanan, lead stars Jai, Anjali, Sarva, and Ananya are happy over the film reaching the 50th day which is continues to remain a landmark in the films journey.

According to trade sources, the film has grossed about 17 crores since its release. Looks like the film is all set to bat for a century now.
