Atharvaa performs death defying stunts

 

Muppozhudhum un Karpanaigal team had just returned from the long and tiring shoot in Las Vegas and director Elred Kumar wants to wrap up the shoot for a early release next year. The team was spotted at a engineering college at the outskirts of Chennai where Atharvaa was seen performing some defying stunts without a body double. Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal features Atharvaa and Amala Paul in the lead roles that is produced by R.S.Infotainment production which produced blockbuster movie KO Meanwhile ,upcoming star Atharvaa will join Bala's next movie after completing Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal.

Vikram Dance With Shriya And Reemma

 

A special song in Rajapattai with Vikram, Shriya and Reemma Sen was shot in Stucco, Italy recently. Shriya, who had participated in the shoots, said that it was fun working with her best friends Vikram and Reemma.

On Stucco, Shriya said that it is a great place to be in especially with friends around. Rajapattai is directed by Suseenthiran who has three successful films (Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu, Naan Mahan Alla and Azhagar Saamiyin Kudirai). Rajapattai stars Deeksha Seth as Vikram's female lead.

Parthiban’s yet another novel approach

 

Parthiban is known for his out-of-the-box thinking and novel approach. This was once again evident when this correspondent went to purchase the tickets for Vithagan. Along with the ticket, there was a postcard which was addressed to: Thiruttu VCD-yil rasikamal, uzhaippai mathithu original-ai mattume varaverkkum menmaimigu rasigarlukku.

There was a long letter to the movie buffs purchasing the Vithagan tickets in which Parthiban has said that he is expecting the fans' claps more than anything else. He adds that a fan's satisfaction after watching a film can be deciphered only by the clap sounds and nothing else.

Vithagan has been directed by Parthiban who has also donned the greasepaint. Poorna is his leading lady in this film.

‘Mayakkam Enna’ in USA & Canada from November 24!

 

GK Media Inc has acquired the theatrical distribution rights of Dhanush starrer, 'Mayakkam Enna', for both USA and Canada regions.

It may be mentioned that GK Media has distributed the most number of Tamil films in USA since 2010 including blockbusters, 'Kaavalan', 'Boss Engira Baskaran', 'Ko', 'Avan Ivan', 'Aadukalam', 'Mankatha' and 'Velayutham'.

'Mayakkam Enna' stars Dhanush and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead roles with Sunder Ramu in a pivotal role. Music is by GV Prakash and lyrics are penned by brothers, Selvaraghavan and Dhanush. The colloquial lyrics are already a hit among the young.

Sun Pictures opts out of Rajapattai!

 

Sun Pictures have decided to opt out of the marketing of PVP Cinemas Rajapattai, creating shock waves in the industry.

Sembian Sivakumar who heads Sun Pictures has confirmed that they will not be marketing the film.

Rajapattai is a big budget film which has Vikram and Deeksha Seth in the lead and is directed by Suseenthiran.

It is an all out action entertainer, with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Currently the unit is shooting two songs in Italy. Three glam girls Shriya Saran, Reema Sen and Saloni are there for added glamour.

Yethavathu Sei in Billa 2

 

Yuvan Shankar Raja's score Yethavathu Sei in Billa 2 is going to rock when released. Sources in Kollywood say that Yuvan's tunes for this item number are simply mesmerizing and Meenakshi Dixit's movements for it along with Ajith will have the audiences glued to this song when screened.

The song has already been shot and director Chakri Toleti is happy with the outcome. Meenakshi hopes that she can establish herself in Kollywood after Billa 2's release.

Mayakkam Enna overtakes Osthe

 

 

It all started from Diwali as Silambarasan wanted to release his 'Osthe' while Selvaraghavan confirmed the release on the same date. However with the theatres occupied with three big releases, the films backed out from the race.

With 'Ezham Arivu' and 'Velayutham' still ruling the box office, the distributors and exhibitors had kept other releases away from choice. Now Dhanush's 'Mayakkam Enna' is all set to hit screens on November 25.

Silambarasan's 'Osthe' is still pending on its way from release and there is no news from the producers.

It is going to be a double treat for all Dhanush fans on November 25th. Well, it is not just Mayakkam Enna releasing on that day but the teaser of 3 will also make it to the theatres. Dhanush revealed this much to the excitement of his fans.

3 is directed by his wife Aishwarya Dhanush who is the daughter of Rajinikanth. This has created a lot of expectations for the film. Further, the single track – Why this Kolaveri di? – released recently has become a rage among the youth.
