Parthiban is known for his out-of-the-box thinking and novel approach. This was once again evident when this correspondent went to purchase the tickets for Vithagan. Along with the ticket, there was a postcard which was addressed to: Thiruttu VCD-yil rasikamal, uzhaippai mathithu original-ai mattume varaverkkum menmaimigu rasigarlukku.
There was a long letter to the movie buffs purchasing the Vithagan tickets in which Parthiban has said that he is expecting the fans' claps more than anything else. He adds that a fan's satisfaction after watching a film can be deciphered only by the clap sounds and nothing else.
Vithagan has been directed by Parthiban who has also donned the greasepaint. Poorna is his leading lady in this film.
