Adharva has become very popular after the news broke out that he is going to become Bala's hero. Now he is in the custody of Elred Kumar. Elred Kumar is the producer of the films Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya and Ko. Now he has become a director and is directing the film Muppozhuthum Un Karpanaigal which has Adharva and Amala Paul in the lead roles.

Speaking about Adharva, he said, "Through this film Adharva will capture the hearts of the girls. Next he is in the Bala's film. Definitely Adharva will make it to the top. Initially I told the story of Muppozhuthum Un Karpanaigal to another hero.

The hero who immediately gave his nod came after one week and told me," Sir, I thought about this film. I don't know that whether I can do so many works for this film. It is possible if I can concentrate only on this film but it is not possible for me to do so." He backed out giving his excuse. Because there is so much hard work for this film.

The hero should be with me for at least one year. Adharva listened to the story. Immediately he did the workouts and stood before me with six packs. He also learnt aerobics. A Hollywood actor who had acted in Hang Over 2 is donning the villain role in this film. The climax fighting sequences were very tough and violent that would have landed Adharva in the hospital. Amala Paul, after this film will go to next level.

The chemistry between the two was fantastic and realistic. If anybody sees them in the sets, they will immediately spread rumours that there is something between the two. Apart from this, there is music of G V Prakash and Shakhty's camera. I am confident that this young and energetic team will create magic on the screen."

Shooting of Mugamudi to commence on 7th November

 

After Yuddham Sei, Mysskin is directing a film titled Mugamudi. Jeeva is doing the lead role in this film. Pooja Hegde is pairing with him. Narain who had acted in Mysskin's Chithiram Pesuthadi and Anjathey is donning the villain role in this film.

Kay who composed the music for the Yuddham Sei is now composing for this film. Kay has already composed a song for the lyrics penned by Karky. Though the work connected with this film is going on, it was not known when the shooting was going to commence.

Now it is confirmed that the shooting of this film is commencing on 7th November. This high budgeted film is being produced by UTV Motion Pictures.

Director Raja says that the people in the industry do not know the difference between dubbed films and remake films

 

Director Raja while speaking to the media said, "Vijay once asked me that whether I will be giving hit films which have my brother in the lead role. The result is Velayudham. Some of the people in the industry are asking me that which dubbing film I am going to direct next.

It is really awful that people in the industry are not able to differentiate between dubbed films and remake films. I have a lot of direct stories. Next I will be directing these films. I have the guts to direct anyone.

Many are asking that whether I will direct Ajith next. I am also interested in directing his film. I have a story for him. This will happen when the time comes. My films are entertainers for all the family members. I will not have vulgar scenes that will twitch the face of the people."

Arulnidhi says that the Chief Minister knows the pain of cinema making

 

Arulnidhi made his debut through the film and continued to do the lead role in the film Udhayan. Now he is currently doing the lead role in the film titled Mouna Guru. When asked him that whether the change in the political scenario will affect his career, he said, "Cinema is different from politics.

My brother Udhya acquired the rights of the films like Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya, Ko, Myna, Boss Engira Baskaran and Madrasapattinam which yielded good profits and everyone knows that this was a great strength to Tamil cinema.

The present Chief Minister is also from cinema. She knows all the pain right from the producing a film and taking it to the theatres. Apart from that I am not such a big person to speak about politics. Only one thing matters, if the film is good it will be a big hit. It does not matter about which party rules the Government."

Shriya says that she is not worried that she does not have Tamil films

 

Shriya while speaking to the media said, " I was acting in the Malayalam film Casanova which has Mohanlal in the lead role. After completing the shooting I flew to Mumbai and celebrated Deepavali with my family.

In the evening, I watched Shah Rukh Khan's Ra One film along with family members. Many are asking me that why I am not accepting Tamil films. I am not worried about that. The reason for this is I am waiting for good roles. I know to select the right roles.

Currently I am busy with my work. I am busy acting in Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films. The motivation given by the people keep me busy. I will accept a role in Tamil if I get a good one."

Vettai Diwali ads are a cracker

 

Traditionally on Diwali day Tamil producers advertise their forthcoming films.

This year too nearly half a dozen Tamil producers put out 'first look' ads in newspapers.

The most impressive ad of the lot, which had the industry talking, was the Vettai ads.

It was attention grabbing and stirred a curiosity among those who saw it. The film is a Christmas release.

Says a spokesperson of an ad agency: "The best designed was the Vettai ad. The Sameera Reddy- Amala Paul riding a two wheeler, and another one with Madhavan and Arya in dhoti's were eyecatching, as it was unique and created the right buzz about the film as a family entertainer."

UTV Motion Pictures and Thirrupathi Brothers, the producers of Vettai had taken extra care over the design of the print ad.

Lingusamy directed Vettai has Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Kamal catches up with 7aum Arivu

 

Kamal Haasan watched a sneak preview of 7aum Arivu, a day before the release at a preview theatre.

Kamal came to the theatre straight from the location of his Viswaroopam, to see his daughter Shruti Haasan's film.

The 'Ulaganayagan' was very particular not to reveal his Viswaroopam looks. The show was held exclusively for Kamal and the media was kept away.

Kamal it seems liked the film a lot and felt Shruti has done justice to her role in her debut Tamil film.
