There is news that there is a rift in the friendship between Arya and Amala Paul. Arya had recently hosted a party to his close cinema friends since he has purchased a new apartment.

All the important people including Nayanthara had participated in this function. It seems that Arya had not invited Amala Paul. Amala Paul paired with Arya in the film Vettai. Both of them became close friends during t he shooting Vettai. Both of them were praising each other.

There were also rumours that they are going to pair again. It is now understood that there is rift in the friendship and Arya will not be pairing with Amala Paul. Arya has been recommending to cast Nayanthara for the female lead role in the film in which he is donning the lead role.

When asked Amala Paul about this, she said, "It is really surprising to hear the news that there is a rift between me and Arya. Someone has purposely spread this news. Our friendship continues. I am still in contact with him. When Arya hosted the party, I was in Dubai and that is the reason I was not able to participate in it."

Music composer Ilayaraja has gone to London to compose music for the film Nee Thane En Pon Vasantham directed by Gowtham Menon. The film is being produced in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
