This film is also being remade in Hindi with the title Rowdy Rathore. Akshay Khanna and Sonakshi Sinha are in the lead roles. Ilayathalapathy Vijay will be dancing for a song sequence in this film. Prabhu Deva is directing this film. Vijay has agreed to dance fo song when Prabhu Deva approached him. By dancing in Rowdy Rathore, Vijay is making his entry in Hindi film for the first time.
