ரஜினிக்குப் பின் அஜீத்... சத்தமில்லாமல் ஒரு சாதனை!

ஒழுங்காக ஒரு வெற்றிப்படம் கூட தரமுடியாத நடிகர்கள் அடுத்த சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் நானாக்கும் என்று விரலாட்டிக் கொண்டிருக்க, சத்தமில்லாமல் ஒரு சாதனை செய்துவிட்டு அமைதி காக்கிறார் அஜீத்.

இவரும் கூட ஒரு காலத்தில் நானே அடுத்த சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் என்று சொன்னவர்தான். ஆனால் பின்னாளில் சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் என்ற அந்தஸ்தை அடைய எத்தனை பாடுகள் படவேண்டும், எத்தனை வெற்றிகள் தரவேண்டும், அந்த வெற்றிகளின் பிரமாண்டம் எப்படி இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பது புரிந்து அமைதியாகிவிட்டார் (இப்போது சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினியிடம் ஒரு படத்திலாவது அடிவாங்கினால் போதும் என்கிறார்!)

அஜீத் நடிக்க மங்காத்தா படம் மொத்தம் ரூ 130 கோடியை வசூலித்துள்ளதாக பாக்ஸ் ஆபீஸ் விவரங்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன. சன் பிக்சர்ஸ் நிறுவனமும் இதனை உறுதிப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. இதன் மூலம் ரஜினிக்கு அடுத்து அதிக வசூல் தரும் நாயகன் என்ற அந்தஸ்து அஜீத்துக்கு கிடைத்துள்ளது.

இந்த வெற்றி மற்றும் வசூல் காரணமாக, அஜீத்தின் அடுத்த படத்துக்கான வர்த்தகம் எகிறிவிட்டது. சன் பிக்சர்ஸ் ஒரு பக்கம், வேறு போட்டி நிறுவனங்கள் மறுபக்கம் என அந்தப் படத்தை வாங்கப் போட்டி போடுகின்றன!

Bezawada is cheap says Nagarjuna

Nagarjuna should have agreed to give his son Naga Chaitanya's dates to Ram Gopal Varma as he feels that he is indebted to the latter for Shiva. He might have believed that the director has still some juice left in him to pull off a hit with Chaitanya.

But Nagarjuna repents his decision for accepting RGV's proposal for Bejawada. The actor is terribly disappointed with the film turning out to be a disaster. He is not unhappy that the film is flop, but he feels cheated because the film looks cheap and right out of the trash can.

The quality of Bejawada was criticized by one and all. The film was made on a cheap budget and the standards were as good as crime episodes made for TV. Nag didn't expect such a cheap product with Ram Gopal Varma being one of the producers. However he says that Dhada and Bejawada experiences have taught Chaitanya few lessons and this should be helpful for him in future while taking up new projects.

Rajapattai to rock screens tomorrow

Vikram's Rajapattai is all set to rock screens tomorrow! In the film the actor plays the role of a gym instructor who comes to the city with a dream of becoming a big villain in Tamil films. Rajapattai is directed by Suseendran and sexy siren Deeksha Seth is the heroine. Touted to be a complete mass entertainer, Vikram will appear in several interesting get ups for a song in the film.

Rajapattai is PVP Cinemas' maiden production venture and according to the team, the film will impress all classes of audience. The film will also narrate the relationship between a grandfather (played by veteran actor K. Viswanath) and his grandson. The romance and comedy track are expected to be the main highlight of this film. "I thank Vikram for accepting the role, he is a very hardworking person. With Vikram on board no scenes were complicated to shoot. It was fun working with the Rajapattai team," director Sudeendran said at a recent press meet.

UTV starts Grand Master with Mohanlal

UTV Motion Pictures is gearing up to enter Malayalam and the pooja of its first venture, Grand Master, was held recently.

The film is being written and directed by B Unnikrishnan, with Mohanlal in the lead.

Narain, who was recently seen in Veeraputhran, is doing an important role in the film.

Unnikrishnan has earlier directed the hit film Madambi, which had Mohanlal and Kavya Madhavan playing the lead pair.

The shooting of Grand Master will start during January next year.

Priyamani plays the heroine in Grand Master. Roma is the other heroine in the film.

The cast also includes Jaya Menon, Roma, Sampath, Siddique, Jagathy Sreekumar and Saikumar among others. Deepak Dev scores the music

Dhanush to Sign Shankars Assistant

Following the projects from his family (Mayakkam Enna and 3), Dhanush is now listening to more scripts now to take up in 2012. Already, he has Chimbu Devan's film on cards that will start rolling shortly. Meanwhile, we hear that the actor is listening to a script by newcomer, former associate of director Shankar.

Nothing has been confirmed by the sources, but we hear that Kalaipuli S Dhanu has shown interest over the project and might produce it while another production company is into the picture as well.

Saguni to Hit Screens Soon

Karthi's upcoming flick 'Saguni' had taken a jet-speed progression over the shooting schedules and is now set to wrap up with the final schedule by Dec 24. Directed by Shankar Dayal and produced by Dream Warriors Pictures, the film is touted to be a political drama with strong characterizations.

According to the inside reports, the makers had both the shooting and post-production works done simultaneously, which makes the process completed within short span of time. Announcement about audio launch and thearitical release are expected soon.
