Will Shankar direct Kamal, Jackie Chan and Katrina Kaif ?

 

Kamal Hasaan's Viswaroopam is on the urge of completion and pre production works for his next venture has begin.His next flick will be produced by Aascar V.Ravichandran and has been tentatively titled Thalaivan Irukiran . The latest buzz doing the rounds is that this movie will star Kamal Hasaan , Mohan lal and Katrina Kaif while Hollywood super star Jackie Chan is said to appear in remarkable cameo role. Adding more to the excitement the production house is trying to rope in Shankar to direct this mega budget venture . We tried contacting Shankar on this issue but he refused to comment on the developments since it is too early to comment on this venture..A.R.Rahman is also said to be in talks with the production house to compose for this flick.The excitement and hype around this project is already sky high with big names involved in the talks.But , it is not sure whether the talks will materialize to offer a visual treat for the audience.Lets wait and watch.

Marina opens to packed houses

 

Award winning director Pandiraj's third venture Marina has hit the screens today.The movie had child artists who worked for Pasanga along with TV host turned actor Sivakarthikeyan and Oviya in the lead. Though the movie doesn't have any big stars , Marina has fetched more than 17 theatres in Chennai city which is almost equal to that of any big release.Adding more to excitement , the movie has opened to packed houses across the globe and positive reviews from the audience has flooded the social networks .Marina is deals about a very serious social issue with lot of humor.

Paani (Vijay), Venkat (Sreeram) and Nikhil (Jiiva) are classmates in a premiere engineering college. They are from different backgrounds (ultra rich, middle class and poor economic background). Dean Virus (Satyaraj) follows a strict regime and believes in putting peer pressure on students. Paani is of opinion that students should never chase grades, but they should chase their passion. The rest of the story is all about how Paani makes a difference to his friends and proves that the dean is wrong.
