He also asked me to do a guest role in this film which has Arya and Narain in the cast. I agreed to do this role since the story was good. But after this no one contacted me. I am ready to act even in a guest role if the story and character is good.

Mouna Guru is an upcoming film directed by debutant director Santhakumar and has Arulnidhi and Iniya in the lead.Some song sequences of the movie took place at a college in OMR today. Mouna Guru is produced by Arulnidhi's home production company and the additional information is that award winning choreographer Dinesh is choreographing the song and the music is composed by Thaman.
We know that Simbhu is a very big fan of Thala Ajith.The buzz now is that Simbhu's Osthi will have the audio launch on Mankatha's 50th day. The music for the film is composed by Thaman. Richa Gangopadhyay pairs with Simbhu and the film is directed by Dharani. The movie was slated for a Diwali release but as some part of the movie is yet to be shot, the movie's release has been postponed to November.

First credits to Rajjan who has shown good deal of maturity in his debut movie as a director.Prasanna has played his role extremely well, standing out from his usual lover boy, boy next door roles. His looks are too eye catchy and he sure hasn't disappointed his female fans.The AUDI that runs on the Bangalore highway is AWESOME..Cheran has proved he is not only good at narrating autobiography but he can also think and execute smart plans.Songs don't fit in anywhere so Sajjan has to wait for his break.Though the story starts off around the Lavanya character played by Haripriya, poor girl she is left hanging in the middle post climax.

The director bug has bitten Kamal Haasan's little one, Akshara Haasan, who has now joined Kamal's 'Viswaroopam' team as an assistant director.
Although Kollywood grapevine was abuzz that Akshara Haasan will foray into acting under Mani Ratnam's direction, nothing was official but now Akshara has joined Kamal's team, it may be recalled that she had earlier worked as an assistant director for a Bollywood director.
Kamal is directing and playing protagonist in 'Viswaroopam' that has Rahul Bose as the actor's villain. While it is said Isha Sharvani plays Kamal's sister in the film nothing has been official yet about the heroine. The film throws light on terrorism and Rahul Bose heads a terrorist group in the film.
While Akshara hopes she can direct her father someday, whether she will soon don the actor's cap like her sister Shruti and her parents, we'll have to wait to know…
Shiva who has carved a niche for himself in the Tamil film industry, has five projects at hand. He will be reuniting with his Tamizh Padam director, CS Amudhan and Venkat Prabhu with whom he has worked with in Saroja and Chennai 600028. In addition to this, he has a Sundar C film and one with newcomer Aravind. Director Gnana Rajasekaran who made the National Award winning film, Bharathi is also doing a film with Shiva in the lead.
All these films are expected to release in 2012 and Shiva is hoping that they will all make an impact. He is confident about his films as they are all sure to entertain the audience, according to him.
She was Shamna Qasim prior to coming to movies and changed named as Poorna after entering movies. Poorna, who is a typical family girl who has close-knit relations with almost all her family members, loved her grandmother Jameela very much and didn't spend a day without talking to her till Jameela expired recently. Poorna was wrecked to the core by her grandmother's demise in 2008.
She has now made a comeback in Kollywood with Vellore Mavattam opposite Nandha. The film is into its second week and has been doing fairly well at the box-office so far. Happiness is writ large on Poorna's face who also has another biggie in Vithagan which has actor-director Parthiban in the lead role. After a long time, Parthiban is giving vent to his creative instincts by directing the film.
Recently, Poorna had acquired a huge house in Cochin for Rs.90 lakhs. She was likened to Asin for her looks but comparisons to other actress(es) can't take an actress forward unless she delivers a few hit films. Poorna learnt it the hard way over the years.
Poorna has acted in a few Telugu films as well and reportedly does more glamourous roles in Telugu than in Tamil. She is now extremely happy to have acquired her own house in Cochin. After all, isn't it every human being's dream to own up a house in his or her lifetime?
Shah Rukh Khan has said that he will star in a film to be directed by AR Murugadoss. The star said that AR Murugadoss had two stories for him and is fascinated by both. Soon after 7aam Arivu's release, AR Murugadoss will begin concentrating in this venture full swing, we are told. The King Khan is also very eager to work with AR Murugadoss considering the director's successful track record.
Industry sources also say that there is a strong indication that AR Murugadoss may direct Shah Rukh Khan because he had said that his next directorial venture will be a Bollywood flick. An official announcement is expected from AR Murugadoss and Shah Rukh very soon in this regard.
Osthi audio launch will happen on October 19, confirms the film's music director Thaman. There were plans to release a single track before the audio launch but Osthi's lead star Simbu decided against it at the last moment. He felt that a full-fledged audio launch would do the trick.
The date for the audio release was not confirmed as the item song rendered by LR Eswari and T Rajendar was recorded only a few days ago. With the song completed and shot, the release date has now been finalized. This song will be the highlight of Osthi, sources close to the film unit say.
It may be recalled that Bollywood hottie Mallika Sherawat has gyrated along with Simbu and Sonu Sood for this item song.
It is said that Genelia is being considered as Dhanush's arm candy in Mareesan. The film is to be directed by Simbu Devan, the director who had directed films like Imsai Arasan 23aam Pulikesi, ad Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam.
There are reports that Genelia may be signed up as the heroine for this film. Dhanush and Genelia had starred together in Uthama Puthiran already and their onscreen chemistry was impressive.
Dhanush is currently busy with 3, a film directed by his wife Aishwarya Dhanush and he will move on to Mareesan after completing this assignment first. Mareesan, which is a period flick set in the 12th century, is to be produced by UTV Motion Pictures on a whopping budget of Rs. 30 crores.
Osthi will not be a Diwali release as the music launch is yet to take place and a few other post-production works are still in progress. Industry sources say that film's most probable release date would be November 18th.
Osthi was one of the most expected films for Diwali as it stars Silambarasan in the lead and the release date being put off at the last moment is a sort of disappointment for al movie buffs especially Silambarasan's fans.
This film, incidentally, is a remake of the Hindi flick Dabangg. Richa plays Silambarasan's onscreen pair in Osthi. Direction is by Dharani.
Amitabh Bachchan wanted to celebrate his 69th birthday quietly with family and friends but his fans were having none of it. Thousands of fans gathered in front of his house and released balloons into the air when he stepped out in his trademark flowing white Kurtha.
The actor, gracious as ever, thanked the fans for their love which he said is responsible for the position he enjoys in the industry and added that he will include them in his prayers. It is going to be a good year, Amitabh feels as the Bachchan household is looking forward to another addition to their household with Ashwariya Rai pregnant.
Rajinikanth's Educational Trust is located at Teynampet in Chennai. This Trust's administrator complained to the police that he received a murder threat from a Mumbai-based financier. It is said that the financier threatened to do away with the administrator if the loan amount 2.50 crores is not settled immediately.
Following this complaint, the police have arrested financier Sushil Gupta. The case is under investigation.
Looks like AR Murugadoss is planning to direct a Hindi film next. Shah Rukh Khan has said that the director had narrated two stories to him and he will star in any one of these. The King Khan added that he is looking forward to work with AR Murugadoss and is impressed with both the scripts he had for him.
Shah Rukh said that he is willing to star in any project that the director intends to begin first. AR Murugadoss has made a mark in Bollywood with Ghajini and this has upped his market in there.
Anushka, who is one of the leading heroines in Tamil and Telugu film industries, says that she couldn't adjust to the filmdom during the early stages of her career and decided to quit several times.
However, she sustained as an actress and is now happy to have stayed. Anushka says that the rigors of the film industry and its working pattern was too different for her and she thought of leaving the industry as she was not cut out to be an actress.
The actress added that she never had an idea to make acting her career but it just happened. Anushka is now thankful for her wonderful career because of the fame and fortune it brings her.
Hansika has put an end to rumors about her doing an item number in The Businessman. The actress was reported to be signed up for an item song in the film but she has now made it clear that these are just baseless rumors.
Hansika is one of he busiest heroines in the south Indian film industry and she says that her acting assignments keep her away from accepting item numbers.
The Businessman, which is directed by Puri Jagannath, stars Mahesh Babu and Kajal Agarwal. Music is by Thaman.

On the verge of completing 'Ishtam', in which he is playing the role of a city-based youth for the first time, Vimal is all set to start shooting for his next, titled 'Anaithukkum Aasaipadu'. "It is about a youngster who dreams to become big in life," say sources.
To be directed by Ravi, a former associate to Mysskin, the film has Deepa Shah, who had played a crucial role in Mysskin's earlier venture 'Yudhdham Sei'. "A youthful story loaded with bubbly ingredients is Anaithukkum Aasaipadu, which is set to hit the floors soon."
Says Vimal, "I am thankful to the audience for their support to my films. From Pasanga to the recent Vaagai Sooda Va, their encouragement is something extraordinary. This makes me more responsible. Anaithukkum Aasaipadu will fulfill all expectations."
On 'Ishtam', which is a remake of Telugu hit 'Yemaindhi Ee Vela', he says, "It is about today's modern youngsters, who earn lots of money and lead a carefree life. How they understand the value of our culture, this is told in an interesting and entertaining manner.
