On the verge of completing 'Ishtam', in which he is playing the role of a city-based youth for the first time, Vimal is all set to start shooting for his next, titled 'Anaithukkum Aasaipadu'. "It is about a youngster who dreams to become big in life," say sources.
To be directed by Ravi, a former associate to Mysskin, the film has Deepa Shah, who had played a crucial role in Mysskin's earlier venture 'Yudhdham Sei'. "A youthful story loaded with bubbly ingredients is Anaithukkum Aasaipadu, which is set to hit the floors soon."
Says Vimal, "I am thankful to the audience for their support to my films. From Pasanga to the recent Vaagai Sooda Va, their encouragement is something extraordinary. This makes me more responsible. Anaithukkum Aasaipadu will fulfill all expectations."
On 'Ishtam', which is a remake of Telugu hit 'Yemaindhi Ee Vela', he says, "It is about today's modern youngsters, who earn lots of money and lead a carefree life. How they understand the value of our culture, this is told in an interesting and entertaining manner.
