Rajni who had recovered from his ill health will be now acting in the film titled Kochadaiyaan. This film is being directed by Soundarya under the overall supervision of director K S Ravikumar. A R Rahman is composing the music.Deepika Padukone, Sarathkumar, Shobana, Nasar, Rukmani, Aadhi and Jackie Shroff will be sharing the screen with Rajnikanth in this film.
Motion Capturing Technology is for the first time being used in this film in India.
Soundarya had been to Hong Kong to discuss with the technicians who are proficient in the Motion Capturing Technology.The shooting of this film is to commence in London. Hence the work connected with the shooting are going in top gear in London.
At a stage when the shooting of Kochadaiyaan is yet to begin Rajni has listened to a story for his next film from a director. This film which is to be produced by Eros International will have all the cast and crew signed for Raana except director K S Ravikumar. Rajni's next film is to be directed by K V Anand.
