Arya has been signed for the role which Imran Khan had donned in Hindi. Santhanam will be donning the role which Veer Doss did in Delhi Belly and similarly Premji Amaran will be donning the role of Roy Kapoor.
Hansika has been signed for the heroine role. Kannan who had earlier directed films like Jayamkondan and Kandein Kadhalai will be directing this film. There is much importance for dialogues in this film.John Mahendran has penned the dialogues for this remake film. John had earlier directed the Tamil film Sachin. Dhananjayan of UT V has mentioned, " We have changed the screenplay to suit the Tamil audience. John Mahendran has written the dialogues in a very comical way.
