Rajinikanth is called as ‘Appa’ by Deepika Padukone?

Soundarya R.Ashwin, Rajinikanth's daughter and Deepika Padukone seemed to be developing special bond with each other. This movie features Rajni and Deepika in the lead roles. In this film, Deepika is paired with superstar who is double of her age.

Deepika Padukone has been addressing Rajinikanth as 'Appa' (Father) off the screen. This was witnessed when Deepika used the opportunity to thank Soundarya through Twitter for making her feel extremely comfortable in the sets of this film.

Soundarya tweeted, "Hey guys. back in Chenna i after an awesome 2nd schedule in Kerala..Finished some good work. was gr8 working with Deepika? She is such a darling (sic)."

Deepika replied to this tweet message and said, "@sound_a_rajini thank u for making me feel so comfortable & for being such a wonderful director! Lots of love to amma and appa & see you soon (sic)."

Soundarya tweeted back and replied that, "@deepikapadukone :):) It was a pleasure directing you! Will see you soon for sure Lots of love from Appa amma and the whole unit!!! Big hug! (sic)."

Though, this is considerably a personal thing between Rajinikanth, his family and Deepika Padukone, it would be interesting to see the manner, in which Superstar's fans would react to this news.
