K V Anand to direct a Hindi film

Kollywood director K V Anand will be for the first time directing a Hindi film which will have Akshay Kumar in the lead role.

K V Anand who gave hit films like Ayan and Ko in Tamil is currently directing a Tamil film titled Maatran which has Surya in the lead role.

The shooting of this film is in the final stages. At this juncture there are announcements regarding K V Anand's next film.

This time Anand will be directing a Hindi film which wi ll have Akshay Kumar in the lead role. K V Anand had earlier worked as a cinematographer in numerous Hindi films including Khakee, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Nayak: The Real Hero and Josh.

Now for the first time he is directing a Hindi film. The work connected with story, screenplay, scouting of locations and story discussion has been completed. K V Anand will be commencing the shooting of the Hindi film soon.
