He is the one who use to dub Jackie Chan's film in Tamil and release it in Tamil Nadu and because of this he is a close friend of Jackie. One can also very well remember that Hollywood super star Jackie Chan was the one who released the audio CD of Kamal starrer Dasavatharam which was produced by Aascar Ravichandran.

For quite some time Aascar Ravichandran was pondering over producing a film which will have Jackie Chan in the lead role. He has decided to produce the Part 2 of Armour of God which will have Jackie Chan in the lead role. He also donned the lead role in the 1st part of this film. This film is to be produced at a budget of Rs 400 Crores.

The story of this film happens in India and because of this it has been decided to rope in the big stars of Bollywood and Kollywood to be a part of this film. By doing so, the film can be dubbed in various Indian languages which will facilitate in filling the coffers of the box office.

Talks are already going on with Bollywood star Salman Khan with regard to this. It is understood that Salman Khan will agree because Jackie Chan is part of this film. Similarly Surya is being approached in Kollywood with regard to this.
