Asin for their films, here is good news! The pretty actress was recently seen bonding big time with ace director Shankar and Oscar winner A. R. Rahman at a glitzy event in Mumbai.
Sources inform that the chirpy actress was in high spirits and was seen having an animated conversation with Shankar.
A little birdie who overheard their conversation tells us that Shankar was ruing the fact that on three earlier occasions, he had missed having the Kerala beauty in his films!
This has given rise to speculations that Shankar might be considering her for his next, which is touted to be a trilingual in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, with three biggies playing the protagonists — Kamal, Prabhas and Mohanlal respectively.
It is learnt that the story, penned by the Ulaga Nayagan for an earlier project of his and titled Thalaivan Irukkkiran, forms the base for Shankar's film.
But some industry people who know Shankar (who has resolved not to indulge in remakes anymore) say that he would always prefer to work with his own script rather than use Kamal's.
The high profile producer Aascar Ravichandran had earlier confirmed to this newspaper that he had signed Kamal for a film — It is unclear whether this is the same project! Asin sure knows how to stay connected with the biggies!
