Urumi will be the inaugural film

 

It is yet another feather in the cap for Santosh Sivan and team! Yes, Urumi has been selected as the inaugural film for the International Film Festival of India. This is a very prestigious event and the Urumi team is glad to have achieved the honor.

Urumi is a Malayalam film that had Prithviraj, Prabhu Deva, Genelia in the lead roles. The film is directed by the ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan, who has also handled the camera. Urumi was the highest budgetted film made in Malayalam thus far and it has been produced jointly by Prithviraj, Santosh Sivan and Shaji Natesan.
