A grand treat awaits the 'fans' of Vijaya T Rajendar, as the multifaceted personality of Tamil cinema is expected to sing the 'Kalasala….' song at the audio launch of his son Silambarasan aka STR starrer 'Osthi', scheduled to be held in Chennai later today.
The song itself was originally crooned by TR along with veteran singer LR Eswari. "Both Rajendar and Eswari will perform live at the music launch function. Simbu also is expected to sing a couple of songs on stage," sources close to the unit say.
The 'Kalasala…' song is the Tamil version of the chartbuster 'Munni Badnam Hui…' since from 'Dabangg'. Recently, Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat was in Chennai to shake her legs with STR for this song, which is said to be a highlight of 'Osthi'.
Directed by Dharani, 'Osthi' which features Simbu in the role of a carefree cop, is produced by T Ramesh under Balaji Real Media banner in association with Reliance Entertainment. Thaman S has scored the music and he strongly believes songs from the film would top the charts.
