Mankatha to be remade in Hindi soon

 

Mankatha is a film which had Ajith, Trisha, Arjun, Lakshmi Rai, Andréa Vaibhav, Anjali and Premji in the cast. Venkat Prabhu has directed this film. This film which was produced under Cloud Nine banner was released by Sun Pictures.

Mankatha is Ajith's 50th film. Mankatha was a super hit film which was well received by people. Producer Dayanidhi Azhagiri will give detailed reports of the collections made by Mankatha in due course.

At this point of time, this film Mankatha is being remade in Hindi. The Hindi remake rights have been acquired by Gnanavel Raja. He was the one who was supposed to release Mankatha in Tamil Nadu.

Gnanavel Raja while speaking about remaking of Mankatha in Hindi said, " Yes. It is true that we have acquired rights of Mankatha to remake this film in Hindi. We will be making the announcement regarding this soon. It has not been decided that who will be the part of this film. We are on the job of finalizing the cast and crew. The official announcement will made after November 15th."

Did Simbhu prevent Richa from pairing with Jeeva?

 

The cold war between Jeeva and Simbhu is still continuing. The problem between the two started because of the film Ko. K V Anand initially approached Simbhu for the lead role in Ko. Since Simbhu was not interested,K V Anand signed Jeeva for the lead role.

Since the film was a great hit there was great dissatisfaction among the people against Simbhu. Jeeva also mentioned that Simbhu was never his friend and also added that he has stabbed him in the back.

Jai condemned Jeeva because he had commented on Simbhu. At a point where the cold war continues, there was news that Simbhu prevented Richa from pairing with Jeeva. Ahamad is directing a new film which is having Jeeva in the lead role. It is understood that Richa was selected for the female lead role. It seems that Richa who had initially agreed for this has later on rejected this offer.

Richa is currently pairing with Simbhu in Osthi. There were rumours that Simbhu has only prevented Richa from pairing with Jeeva.

When asked Richa about this, she said," Nobody has approached me to pair with Jeeva. The news that Simbhu has prevented me to pair with Jeeva are mere rumors. Neither Simbhu nor anyone interferes with my decisions with regard to my profession."

Simbhu has also denied this news.

I will not watch Velayudham: Hansika

 

Hansika is beaming with happiness and pride, after her biggie Velayudham opposite Vijay has been declared a hit by trade.

Where did she watch the film and pat comes the reply with a mischievous smile: "No, I don't watch any of my films and I haven't watched Velayudham. And I don't think I will. Actually I am scared to go to a theatre and watch myself on big screen as I am my worse critic. But my mom watches all my films FDFS (first day first show) and gives a perfect feedback".

On the best complement she received so far, Hansika giggles: "So many calls.. almost all my friends and well-wishers in the industry rang up to tell me that my performance and comedy timing with Vijay was cool. I read all the positive reviews that the film is getting and can't stop thanking director Raja for giving me such a lovely role especially after Engeyum Kadhal, in which I did an ultra modern character".

Hansika cannot stop talking about Chillax .. song. " I shot for Chillax song on the second day of my first schedule and I didn't know Vijay or Raja. And inspite of that, the chemistry between us rocked. In a day, we became good friends and from then on it was blast shooting for the film".

So what next? Hansika has completed the talkie for Oru Kal Oru Kannadi with two songs remaining to be shot. She has also signed Vettai Mannan opposite STR and two projects in Telugu are on the floors.

With her feet firmly rooted in reality, Haniska is one girl to watch out for in south.

I have no time: Trisha

 

Trisha has come out with an explanation as to why she is not acting in Malayalam and Kannada films. A top star in Tamil and Telugu, she stepped into Bollywood last year. But there was no Mollywood or Sandalwood movie from the actress.

"I really don't find time to act in Malayalam and Kannada films. I am already shuttling between Chennai and Hyderabad thanks to my commitments in Kollywood and Tollywood. I don't want to confuse things by committing so many projects at a time," she says.

At present, Trisha is doing 'Samaran' opposite Vishal in Tamil and 'Dammu' with NTR Junior in Telugu. "I play interesting roles in both. I am happy to share the screen space with Vishal and junior NTR with whom I was supposed to act from long."

In the meantime, Trisha's other Telugu movie 'Bodyguard' (remake of 'Kaavalan' which by itself is a remake) is getting ready to hit the screens early next month. For the third time (after 'Aadavari Maataluku Ardhalu Veruley' and 'Namo Venkatesa'), she is paired with Venkatesh in this film.
