Gopichand's Kollywood entry with Nayanthara

 

We see quite a lot of our Kollywood heroes doing great guns at Tollywood industry. Now , we have one of the leading hero from Tollywood, Gopichand making his comeback as a hero in a Tamil movie along with glam doll Nayanthara under Boopathi Pandian's direction. Gopichand roared the screen as a villain in Jeyam Ravi's debut movie Jeyam , this untitled flick will be the first movie where Gopichand will be featured as the male lead . Vettai's villain Ashrad Rana will be playing an important role in this movie which is touted to be an action movie with all commercial elements embedded in right proportions. The shooting of this movie is already in full swing and the crew is currently canning some important sequences in Mangalore,Mysore ,Kerala and they will soon be flying to Cairo ,Turkey and China to capture some exotic locations for song sequences. Sakthi Saravannan of Mankatha fame will handle the cinematography for this venture. JayBalaji Real Media Ltd which produced Dhanush's Uthamaputhiran , Simbhu's Osthe and Vimal's Ishtam will produce this movie .

Simbu to wed in 2013

 

STR has announced that he would tie the knot next year, that is, 2013. "It's the wish of my parents to see me married. They have been waiting for my consent and I have now given it," says the 'Vallavan' and 'Manmadhan' hero.

"I hope to meet a lovely girl and fall in love with her. I want her to be pretty, friendly, trustworthy, a film buff and my mother is on the look out for such a person. I hope she likes me for who I am and is emotional in the right way and has a good sense of humour. It's only these simple things that I am asking for", says Simbu while speaking to a media house.

Silambarasan is just back from the United States, where he caught up with musicians and technicians for his upcoming music album, titled 'Love Anthem For World Peace'. He will now keep himself busy with shooting for his pending projects- 'Vettai Mannan', 'Podaa Podi' and 'Vada Chennai'.

"Love Anthem is my dream project. I will make it happen soon," the multifaceted personality says, adding: "At the same time, I will also focus on my Kollywood projects. Acting is and has always been my profession and passion."

SJ Surya: I'm introducing a promising newbie in 'Isai'

 

It is no longer news that SJ Surya will be coming up with 'Isai' that he is directing and also composing tunes for. He has now opened up that he will be paired opposite a newbie, a talent from the north in this entertainer.

It was widely reported earlier that Lakshmi Rai who wowed audience in 'Mankatha' will be paired opposite SJ Surya in this film but sources close to the actor squash them as mere rumours.

Speaking , SJ Surya says, "I will make a formal announcement about Isai on April first week. We have zeroed in on a new girl whom we finalized upon after doing a screen test of over 120 girls in Bombay! We stayed there for two and a half months, I'm sure she'll go a long way".

It is said that the screen test wasn't just about looks but the actor did an extensive screen test to check on the candidates' performance as well. It's known to all that all his films have ample importance to heroines as much as the heroes.

Surya also took six months of training in music for composing tunes of 'Isai'. He has delivered several hits in the past as a director, namely, 'Vaali', 'Khusi', 'New' and 'Anbe Aaruyire'.

Director Pandiraj who is riding on the success of Marina has zeroed heroes for his next venture. Sivakarthikeyan and Vimal who made their debut movie with director Pandiraj will share the screen space for his next venture which is said to be a laugh riot with quite a lot of commericial elements in it . The rest of the cast and crew members are yet to be finalized and the movie is expected to go on floors post may.Both these heroes are in demand due to ample scope for comedy and romance in their dream debut.

And It Begins Again!!

 

There is always something that everyone finds a solace in. For some its shopping, for some, its music. I'd like to think its movies for me but the truth is, the one thing that makes me forget where I am to the point of forgetting the day/time it is, is painting. Even with my writing, I have a lazy streak that makes its presence known some time. Hence the month and months that I have spent thinking I have so many reviews that I should finish or write but havent got around to. On top of that, as the days progresed, the confidence in the written words dwindled. Result? A bit of a hold up in the creative factory in my head. I have been away for longer than expected. However, I am glad to admit that I am loving that fact I'm back and whats more, with me returns the wonderful painting challenge that I did back in 2011. (Check this out to understand).

Yet even as I venture down this road again, there is so many things I am unsure of. The how and the why is pretty much the same as before with my format being scryllic and reason, well me. But the what is my question to you.

 

 

So as the poster suggests, I am collecting ideas this time as well. I have already had a generous dose from work colleagues but it wouldn't be fair not to include those that were there last time if I didn't let y'all know. Especially since this is a bigger, better version for me...
