Rakesh and Rekha Jhunjhunwala's 25th wedding anniversary was the perfect occasion for politicos, corporate biggies, society divas and Bollywood celebs to make their presence felt. Anil Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Kabir Bedi and Parveen Dusanj, Niranjan Hiranandani, Parvez Damania, Tabu and Richard Rothman, Talat Aziz, Sunali and Roop Kumar Rathod, Rukhsana Eisa, Rashmi Uday Singh, Neeraj Bajaj, Rajkumar Hirani, Harsh Goenka, Vijay Kalantri, Viren Shah, Esther and Raju Daswani, Kiran Juneja and Ramesh Sippy, were some of the prominent guests who attended this do. DJ Suketu spun some superb music behind the console and when Daler Mehndi got on stage to sing some of his foot-tapping numbers, nobody, including the hosts, could resist getting up and shaking a leg on the dance floor! Tamil Movie Anil Audio Launch Photos

 

 

The audio of Anil was launched yesterday in grand manner. The movie has five songs penned by Tamizh Amudhan, Mohanraj and director ARS himself. Debutant music composer Shankar's work came in for appreciation at the audio launch of the movie Anil Drummer Shivamani, who supposed to perform at the event live could not make it. His mother Lakshmi Ammal attended the event on behalf of him. Acclaimed filmmaker Jayendra was present on the occasion. The movie has been shot using Red One Camera.

Santhanam and Lollu Sabha Jeeva in Mappillai Vinayakar

 

It is hard to control your laughter when either Santhanam or Lollu Sabha Jeeva appears on screen. Now, Mappillai Vinayakar will have both of them sharing the screen space. Doo fame Padmanabhan's next is titled as Mappillai Vinayakar which is said to be full length comedy movie with huge star cast including Urvasi , Bhagyaraj and other leading comedians. The movie will have Lollu Sabha Jeeva in the lead while Santhanam will have a very important role in the role.The director has planned to retain the crew from his debut movie.

After doing two serious themed films last year – 'Vellore Maavattam' and 'Vandhaan Vendraan' – Nandha steps into light hearted genre with his next project.

Titled 'Puthiya Thirupangal', the film will be helmed by Sharada Ramanathan and produced by TCS.

In this family entertainer, Nandha has been paired opposite 'Aayirathil Oruvan' beauty Andrea Jeremiah.

The shooting of 'Puthiya Thirupangal' is said to have been wrapped up and post-production work is in progress.

Talks are that the film's audio launch can be expected anytime in March while the makers are planning to release the project either in March or April.

Incidentally, sources believe that 'Puthiya Thirupangal' will prove to be a turning point in both Nandha and Andrea's career. Hmmm, we really hope this film indeed turns out to be 'Puthiya Thirupangal' for the two

Ajay-Kangna get romantic in Tezz

 

Ajay Devgn and Kangna Ranaut's romantic paring in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai received a lot of praise and interest amongst the audience. The audience has been waiting to see the couple pair up on screen once again as lovers. And now their wish is finally coming true as Ajay and Kangna will be seen together in Priyadarshan's Tezz.

Though Ajay and Kangna were seen together in David Dhawan's Rascals last year, the film was more of a comic love triangle. In Tezz, Ajay and Kangna will be playing a loving husband and wife, whose lives change drastically after some unfortunate events due to which Ajay is deported out of UK, thus, forcing Kangna to be a single parent to their son.

Although Tezz is an action film, it has a beautiful love track between Ajay and Kangna. A beautiful romantic song 'Tere Bina' sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is also picturised on them. The music by Sajid-Wajid adds charm to their on screen pairing

The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Mohanlal, Sameera Reddy and Zayed Khan in prominent roles and releases world wide on April 27, 2012.

Siva karthikeyan and Dhanshika in Tamil Movie Machan

 

Tamil commercial director Sakthi Sithambaram's next venture is 'Machan'. Siva karthikeyan and Dhanshika are doing the lead roles. Note that word Machan might be associated with Namitha. Dhanshika is now waiting for the release of her latest flick 'Aravaan' directed by Vasanthabalan. After the success of 'Marina' Siva Karthikeyan is wait for his next venture 'Manam Kothi Paravai' directed by Ezhil.
