Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey (MPM) held its first press meet on February 15.
The meet was to introduce the team comprising of producer Mayuri Sekar and director Narayanan Nagendra Rao.
The film has newcomers Aari and Shuba in the lead with music by Achu.
Well known director Ameer was the chief guest at the function which was attended by Cheran, Balaji Mohan, Vimal, Shanthanu and Asokh. MPM is about what happens in a coffee shop between 6.30 to 8.30 pm.
Says MPM's writer and director Narayanan Nagendra Rao, one of Mysskin's favourite assistants : "The film is about an unlucky guy who gets lucky on the most improbable day. Set in a coffee shop, the film is a love story."
The highlight of MPM is its music which is making waves. Achu the music director was AR Rahman's former assistant and has composed music for six films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
