Vishal – Trisha's action thriller was earlier named as 'Samaran', which means the 'The Warrior'. But, now it got renamed as 'Samar', which means the 'The War'.

Immediately after the completion of 'Samar', Vishal would start a bunch of projects. Vishal and Sundar.C would join hands for 'Ma dha Gaga Raja', a comedy based film. This also features Karthika as one of the heroines in this film.Apart from that, Vishal has signed few other movies like 'Sandakozhi 2' made by Lingusamy, pending project with Bala and an untitled movie made by 'Engeyum Eppodhum' fame director Saravanan.

This 'Ninaithale Inikkum' fame Anuja Iyer said, "My last year's birthday was very special for me. This year, my birthday celebrations were held normally. I went to temple, spend time with family and had dinner with them. As Ajith also shares the same birth date with me, I decided to wish him in a special manner.

Ajith and my uncle are members in the same boating club in Chennai. Several years ago, my uncle had clicked a picture of Ajith rowing in the boat club. I planned to gift that photograph to Ajith.
