Simbu says he is single… message for Nayantara

 

Simbu has said that he is very much a single in a social networking site. This had several of his women fans trying to woo him. As soon as Simbu declared that he is a 'singleton' fans started advising him on entering into a relationship.

The star however remained noncommittal. Though the motive behind Simbu declaring himself as a single is not clear, sources say that it has sent signals not only to his women fans but also to Nayan who also turned a single recently.

Abhishek on dad’s health: ‘Mard ko dard nahin hota’

 

Abhishek Bachchan says his father Amitabh's dialogue "Mard ko dard nahi hota" from the movie "Mard" couldn't be more relevant than now, when the ailing megastar is keeping his spirits high despite battling serious health problems.

"Morning spent with pa at hospital, then at NASCOMM in the afternoon. Back to hospital where, despite his pain, SrBachchan is cracking jokes. Guess he said it true in his film 'mard ko dard nahin hota!' Legend," Abhishek posted on his Twitter page Thursday night.

Amitabh is currently admitted to the Seven Hills Hospital, where he underwent two surgeries Saturday.

The 69-year-old is still in pain. Though the Bachchan family and hospital authorities are tightlipped about the further procedures, sources have informed IANS that Big B is likely to go under the knife again Friday.

Amitabh indicated through his Thursday night blog post that more doctors were called in for consultation on his condition, but for now, he has chosen to keep details of his condition to himself. However, he is finding solace in the company of his wife, Jaya, children — Abhishek and Shweta, and friends.

"Wonderful feeling to see old friends drop by the hospital… we may not meet at work, but when either in trouble… they are there… To those who pray and wish recovery for me, god bless and thank you for thinking of me so fervently… Shweta's wedding anniversary today, but she stayed back to be by my side… daughters are the best… Abhishek returns from Jaipur shoot to be with us…greatest joy for parents is the love of their children…all else comes afterwards," tweeted Amitabh.

Four villains in ‘Maatraan’ – Suriya against Suriya!

 

There are a total number of four villains in Suriya's forthcoming venture 'Maatran' and one among them, interestingly, is Suriya himself. The other three are Milind Soman, Daniel Balaji and Veera of 'Nadunisi Naaygal' fame!

"If one would closely look at the three names, they could find a Gautham Vasudev Menon link. While Milind Soman is the baddie of 'Pachaikili Muthucharam', Daniel is that of 'Vettaiyadu Vilayadu', and Veera was part of 'Nadunisi Naaygal'," point out sources.

"This is because of Suriya's close rapport with Gautham. Both are good friends and had worked together in 'Kaakka Kaakka' and 'Varanam Aayiram'. Suriya, who was impressed with the performance of the three actors, wanted them to cross swords with him in Maatraan," add sources.

Directed by K V Anand, the film which has Kajal Aggarwal opposite Suriya is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram of AGS Entertainment. Shooting is almost over and Anand is planning to release the movie during summer.
