Isha Sharvani who was roped in to play a important role in Kamal Hasaan's magnum opus has opted out of the movie citing issues with her availability.The actress regrets opting out of her dream debut with Kamal Hasaan. It is said that the pretty actress was trying her level best to accomodate her dates with Kamal Hasaan'sViswaroopam , Surya's Maatran and Vikram's Bollywood venture David.But since the makers of the Viswaroopam were on a urge to complete the movie for the Cannes Festival the actress had no other go but to opt out of the movie.Kamal is now looking out for a suitable replacement for her role.It is worth mentioning here that the team had approached Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone for the role.

Karthika, the cute beauty made her debut in the film industry through the Telugu movie 'Josh' in 2009. Later, made her debut in Tamil, through the film 'Ko' and made her Mollywood debut in the film named 'Makaramanju'

Karthika is presently acting in a Telugu movie called 'Dammu', and working in 'Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum', which is directed by renowned Director R. Bharathiraja. In between, there was a complaint that, 'Makaramanju' star Karthika was missing from Mollywood, from where is she is supposedly getting more offers.

Regarding this, Karthika replied that, "I'm not keeping myself away from Malayalam cinema on purpose. Soon after Makaramanju, I was signed on for Annakodi, the shoot of which is still on. And I've committed to three more Tamil films.

So unless I'm done with these, I wouldn't be able to allot dates for Mollywood. But you know what? I'm not missing from the scene entirely. I'm in Kerala on and off to receive one award after the other for the best debutant that the film fetched me. It's Mollywood that has been offering me really interesting scripts. I'll be surely back in the industry soon,"

Lawrence planning for Kanchana sequel

 

Kanchana, the comedy thriller and biggest hit of 2011 is going to have a third part soon, confirms Lawrence who produced, directed and did the lead role.

In fact Kanchana was the sequel to Muni and now the third part will have a different title. The sequel will be a bilingual in Tamil-Telugu and Lawrence is planning to introduce his brother in the film.

The mass masala horror comedy was a runaway hit in B and C centres and its Telugu version was also a money spinner. Lakshmi Rai was the heroine and Sarath Kumar was a revelation in a transgender role.

In fact there were reports that Salman Khan who watched the film was keen on remaking it in Hindi.

Says Lawrence "I dedicate all my success to Lord Raghavendhra. After I built the Raghavendra Temple in Ambattur, my career is going great guns and I have been flooded with offers".
