Sona targets Venkat Prabhu

Actor cum Producer Sona who is famous for her glamour roles is back again with a issue.This time it is Venkat Prabhu the director of Chennai 28, Goa and Mankatha.

Sona who accused SPB Charan for harrasing her with vulgar words in a private party arranged by the Mankatha team, went and lodged a complaint against SPB Charan. After the issue Venkat Prabhu stated that he won't be doing any more films and said that he will return back the advance money taken from her.

But now Sona says that the full amount was not settled. She didn't stop there, the actress called producer Gnanavel Raja with whom Venkat Prabhu is doing is next film and asked the producer to settle this issue. If not she will lodge a complaint in the producer council which might create a bad impact on his image. Hearing this now Venkat Prabhu says "Enna Koduma Sir Ithu"

Hindi version of VTV release in January

 

Director Gautham Vasudev Menon is all set to release the Hindi version of Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya in January next year. Titled Ek Deewana Tha, the film has Prateik Babbar and Amy Jackson playing the lead roles. Prateik and Amy have reprised the roles essayed with aplomb by Simbu and Trisha (respectively) in the original Tamil version.

VTV was a huge success in Tamil and was a significant hit in the careers of both Simbu and Trisha. In fact, the film's success made many producers and directors believe that Simbu can portray any kind of roles on-screen provided the script is good. "I have made several changes in the characterization and characters in the Hindi version. While Simbu was always in an excited mood, Prateik would be a 'soft' character with no signs of tension.

"We have show Prateik and Amy in love and pouring out their emotions for each other. Amy has gone a step further than Trisha did in the original and has given an amazing performance," says Menon about his debut directorial venture in Hindi. Unit sources say that Prateik and Amy's reported off-screen romance helped them bond well on the sets to display on-screen love.

Menon also plans to visit Mumbai and Delhi to watch the film along with the audiences to know their reaction to the film. The film is likely to be released on 13th January next year. Menon is also making the Tamil film Needhanae En Ponvasandham starring Jiiva and Samantha in lead roles.

Venkat Prabhu's next with Surya ?

 

Venkat Prabhu , who is still riding high with the success of Thala's 50 movie, Mankatha .He will be back in action again .According to latest buzz Venkat Prabhu will join Surya for movie that will be produced by Surya's home production Studio Green . Rest of the cast and crew members are yet to be finalized while Venkat Prabhu has retained his favorite cinematographer Sakthi Saravanan and Yuvan Shankar Raja for Music. The movie will go on floors once Surya completes his current commitments.

3's Kolaveri Single from Nov 16th

 

Dhanush,Shruthi Hasaan starrer 3 will follow the current trend of single track release. According to report,Kolaveri track from 3 is all set to hit the stores from November 16th . Recently,Kolaveri's rough version was illegally uploaded and it was making waves in the internet .The movie will have 10 songs including this track , all ten of them are penned by Dhanush and composed by debutant music director Anirudh . 3 is making brisk progress and it is expected to hit the screens for Pongal. It is worth mentioning that Aiswariyaa Dhanush is marking her directorial debut with this movie .

3 single track audio launch

 

After a song from the Dhanush-Shruti Haasan starrer 3, directed by Aishwarya Dhanush was leaked on the net, the producers have decided to come out with a single track audio launch.

The song that got leaked is `Why this kolaveri di…` is written and sung by Dhanush and tuned by debutant Anirudh. The film has 10 tracks out of which 9 are written by Dhanush and one by Aishwarya.

Says Aishwarya Dhanush: "Since one off the rough cut songs from 3 got leaked on the net for which we got excellent feedback, we decided to release it as a single track."

The Tamil audio market leader Sony Music who have taken the audio rights are releasing 3 as a single on November 16. It is supposed to be a very peppy number that will capture the imagination of the youth.

Sonia works with 8 directors

 

Eight leading directors have acted in 'Oru Nadigayin Vaakumoolam', a movie which marks the comeback of Sonia Agarwal in Kollywood. Four of them appeared in a particular sequence, which required them to act like working with Sonia in film shoots.

"Since Sonia is playing a leading actress in this movie, one such scene became mandatory. Based on the request of director Rajkrishna, filmmakers Vikraman, Rasu Maduravan, A Venkatesh and Suraj stood in front of the camera and acted like they were shooting with Sonia," sources say.

The other four filmmakers are Rajkapoor, Manobala, Velmurugan and Rajkrishna himself, who have played small yet significant roles, we learn. Produced by 'Punnagai Poo' Geetha of 'Arindhum Ariyamalum' and 'Pattiyal' fame, 'Oru Nadigayin Vaakumoolam' is taking shape fast.

Talking about the movie, Sonia says, "The film is not inspired by my real life story or that of any other actress. It is just a collage of experiences of various actresses in the industry. It will throw light on happenings in the movie industry, however in an interesting manner".

Iniya is flying high

 

The actress Iniya is scaling greater heights after her critically acclaimed movie "Vaagai Sooda Vaa" by director Sargunam.

The young actress, who acted Malayalam movies as a child artiste, is scaling new heights after the success of the film. She bagged "Mouna Guru", in which she stars as a medical student opposite Arulnidhi, grandson of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.

Iniya has dubbed for the film herself and it will hit the screens soon.

She also has lead role in director Bharatiraja's film "Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum".

Normally there is a talk that heroine's work is less in commercial films. But for me, there is a big part in this film. I am donning the role of a Christian girl.

I am the only witness for all the things that Parthiban do. I have also acted in action sequences. I had danced with foreign artists for song sequences in Vietnam and Czech countries. This was a new experience for me.

I was able to act very easily in the sequences where Parthiban was not there. But while acting with him it was like playing a game with a coach. He will be able to detect the slightest mistake I make. So I was having fear while acting with him. I came to understand that it is very difficult to act with directors. Now that has been fulfilled and that also I had got the opportunity to act in a film written by my favourite novelist.

This film is about a Bengali girl who was born and brought up in San Francisco. Though I don't know Bengali language, I learnt some fundamental things and acted in this film. I have also dubbed for this film in my own voice memorizing the dialogues. This film will be an important one in my career.
