Vikram , Vijay and team will soon be flying to London

 

Vikram's upcoming venture Thaandavam is progressing at rapid pace . The movie is said to explore another side of Vikram in a cop role in another dimension.Vijay is planning to make Thaandavam as a quickie and It is said that the team has already completed 50 % of the movie at various location in Chennai and New Delhi.Though , Vijay wanted to shoot some important sequences in US they team had some issues in obtaining the Visa but finally they managed to settle down for London and the schedule will kick start in London from 16 th April and will continue till June . Thaandavam is produced by UTV motion Pictures they reunite with the duo after stupendous success of Dheivathirumagal.Thaandavam brings together a huge star cast that includes Vikram,Jagapathi Babu,Anuskha and Amy Jackson and it is said to be made with Hollywood Standards.The production company is planning to release the audio of the movie by July and the movie will hit the screens during September.

M. G. R. was born in Nawalapitiya near Kandy, Sri Lanka, to Gopala Menon and Maruthur Satyabhama (Nairs are traditionally matrilineal, hence MGR shares his matrilineal family surname "Maruthur"). His family was originally from Vadavannur,Palakkad, Kerala, but his father had migrated with his family to Sri Lanka.

After his father's death, he could not pursue his studies beyond the primary stage due to poverty and joined a drama troupe called Original Boys. Gaining considerable experience on stage, he entered the world of cinema, becoming an actor, and later a director, producer, and editor. M. G. R. married V. N. Janaki a heroine and actress.

FEFSI strike comes to an end

 

Kollywood was in a dead lock situation when FEFSI decided to go on a complete strike through out the country against Tamil Nadu Film Producers council . Now , with the intervention of Tamil Nadu Government labour welfare minister , the FEFSI will resume the union's work pretty. This comes as a result of the meeting that happened today with representatives from both the union .This news comes as a sweet surprise for many producers and directors from the industry who were financially affected by the strike .Movies which were stalled because of the strike will resume its production very soon.However , it is still not clear whether TFPC will still have the idea of bringing in a rival union against FEFSI but as of now it is clear that Kollywood shootings will proceed smoothly.
