Five films to be released on Deepavali day

Normally 10 to 12 films will be released on Deepavali day. Like last year, this year also fewer films are being released on Deepavali day. It has been announced that five films will be released on Deepavali day.

Thuppakki which has Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles has been directed by A R Murugadoss is being released on Deepavali day. The film Poda Podi which has Simbhu and Varalakshmi in the lead roles is being released on the same day.

Apart from this the most expected film Kumki which has Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmi Menon directed by Prabhu Solomon is also being released on Deepavali day. The films Kalla Thuppakki and Mansur Ali Khan's Lollu Dhada Parak Parak are also being released on Deepavali day.

The fans of Kamal Haasan and Rajnikanth are upset because the release of the films Viswaroobam and Kochadaiyaan have been postponed.

R Prabhakaran directed a film titled Sundarapandian which had Sasikumar in the lead role. This film which was recently released was a great success at the box office. Next he will be directing a film which will have Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead role.

Prabhakaran while speaking about this said, The film Sundarapandian is doing well at the box office. The audience are now accepting the pragmatic comedy films. Seeing this film Udhayanidhi Stalin has requested me to make a film for their production house.

I agreed and told him the outline of the story. He immediately said that he would don the lead role. The story discussion of this film is going on in Theni. The story of this film is about a romance that happens in a small town. The title, cast and crew are yet to be finalized. The shooting of this film will commence during the month of January.

A R Rahman is composing music while P C Sriram is handling the camera. Few days back the shooting of this film has taken place in Chennai and its suburbs. The second schedule of shooting is now taking place in China. Shankar has left for China with Vikram, Amy Jackson and P C Sriram.

At this point of time Amy Jackson has mentioned, I like China very much. The shooting of I is to take place in China for 40 days. I want to go on sightseeing there after taking two days leave. I am very interested to see Zhangjiajie National Park there.

Next year Surya will be acting in a film to be directed by Sasikumar. Surya is currently acting in the film Singam 2 directed by Hari. After this, he will be acting in a film to be directed by Lingusamy. In between Venkat Prabhu has narrated a story to Surya.

 

It is understood that Surya was not impressed with that story. At this juncture, Sasikumar is very busy scripting for his next film. Sasikumar has decided to act in another film. This film will be directed by another director.

Sasikumar is indulging in story discussion while acting in this new film. He will not be acting in the film that he is directing. There is news that Surya will be donning the lead role in this film. Recently Sasikumar has met Surya and has spoken to him.

It is understood that both of them will join hands during the month of June 2013. Surya in the recent times has been acting in commercial films so he feels that it would be better if he acts in a film like Bala's film. Surya has also wanted a director who would complete the film in 6 months. Now it has come to light that the director is none than Sasikumar.
