Music composer G V Prakash follows the footsteps of music composer Vijay Anthony

All these days, music composer G V Prakash was refusing to act in films. Now all of a sudden he has agreed to don the lead role in a film. Director A R Murugadoss in association with Hollywood Fox Studios is producing Tamil films.

His maiden venture was Engeyum Eppodhum. Next he is producing a film which is being directed by his assistant Rajashekar. The story of this film is connected with music. G V Prakash will be donning the lead role in this film.

Music composer G V Prakash while speaking about this said, I was approached for the lead role in the film which is being produced by A R Murugadoss. I am currently busy composing music for Tamil and Hindi films. At the same time I am holding talks to act in that film. I cannot say anything regard ing this at this juncture.

Earlier many directors made efforts to make G V Prakash as a hero but he said that he was not interested in acting and he will concentrate only in music. He had a doubt that whether a music composer can be successful as an actor. At this point of time, the film Naan which had music composer Vijay Anthony in the lead role was a great success. Critics also appreciated this film. Sources in Kollywood say that G V Prakash after seeing the success of Naan has now decided to act.
