Tamil Nadu Directors Association has taken a vital decision to slash the membership fees for assistant and associate directors . According to a press release from the directors union the membership fees has been slashed from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 15,000 . The newly formed Associate membership comes at a cost of Rs.2500 . The membership fees for Television serial directors and Government Film Technology college students are also slashed . The new price will come in to effect from January 1st 2012 while the application for joining the union will be issued from January 2nd .The directors union has taken this decision that will ease off the financial burden faced by many who aspire to become directors .
