Suseendhiran to shoot ‘item song’ for Rajapattai in Italy?

Director Suseendhiran has reached the final stages of shooting of his upcoming film Rajapattai which stars Vikram and debutant heroine Deeksha Seth in the lead. The film's audio was launched some time back and there was a meet-the-press event too when Vikram, Suseendhiran and Deeksha got to share their experience of working in the film with the presspersons who had assembled at the venue.

Vikram, who plays a gym instructor in the film, turns his attention to masala movies after playing an ultra-serious role in his latest release Deivathirumagal. Directed by Vijay, the film chronicled the struggle of a mentally challenged person (whose mental maturity was nothing better than a 5-year old) to get his daughter back into his custody. Anushka and Amala Paul too played significant roles in the film.

An 'item' song featuring hotties Shriya Saran and Reemma Sen was first planned to be shot in Japan but the idea was later abandoned as the Island Nation had recently undergone some natural calamities and is in the recovering phase now. The song would now be shot in Italy, Suseendhiran reveals. To shoot the song, Shriya, Reemma and the technical crew along with Suseendhiran would soon be leaving for Italy.

After completing Rajpattai, Suseendhiran is all set to director actor Vishnu (who was introduced in films as hero by Suseendhiran's Vennila Kabadikuzhu) in 2009 in his upcoming film titled Veeradheera Sooran. The film would be a hilarious comedy film and would be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. Search is on for the Telugu actor to star in the Telugu version.
